Sina, as she is called by her friends, was born into a family, where classic music was not only part of general education but also played an important role in everyday life, her sister Jung-Eun having become a practicing pianist. She received her first lessons in singing at the age of 13. Upon completion of Junior College she was then granted full scholarship and enrolled at EWHA Womans’ University, Seoul. Sina received her bachelor in 1996 and her diploma in 2000.

To perfect her presentation of Italian opera, she then moved to the historic city of Frosinone on the Via Latina just South of Rome enrolling at the Conservatorio di Musica Licinio Refice. In the 4 years following until receiving her second diploma in 2004 Sina perfected her capabilities of Italian opera.

In late 2005 she relocated in Germany. Her schedule includes regular stage appearances in Korea, Italy, England and Germany.
