Mizuki TANABE (cello)
 


 

 

Mizuki was born in Tokyo, Japan where she began playing the cello at the age of thirteen. In 1998 Mizuki entered Kunitachi College of Music, Tokyo where she was awarded several college prizes and graduated with high distinction.

She also studied in the UK between 2002 and 2005 at Trinity College of Music, London under the guidance of David Kenedy. There Mizuki successfully completed her postgraduate degree with the support of the Trinity College of Music scholarships.

Since 2005, Mizuki had studied with Raphael Wallfisch at Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz. With her chamber music groups, she has given concerts in England, Germany, Japan, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
