Larissa KURMATSCHEWA (piano collaborator)

Larissa Kumatschewa was born in Karaganda (Kasachstan).
She initially majored at the local College of Music in piano. In due course
she emigrated to Germany and continued her studies at the College of Music “Rheinland-Pfalz”
majoring in school music (piano and vocal) in the class of Prof. Heinz Zarbock. Diplomas in piano
and vocal repetition (Prof. Burkhard Schaeffer). Ms. Kurmatschewa widened her musical experience
in master classes of Ruth Ziesack, Prof. Rudolf Piernay and Ulrich Eisenlohr. She also participated
in the master class “Singing Summer” of Prof. Thomas Dewald and Prof. Burkhard Schaeffer.
Répétition with several vocal and instrumental soloists in classes of Prof. Claudia Eder, Prof. Thomas
Dewald, Elaine Woods and Andreas Karasiak. Participation in joint projects between the College of Music
and the State Theater Mainz („Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny“, „Des
Knabenwunderhorn“, „Brahms für Fortgeschrittene“).She is member of the teaching
staff at the College of Music and répétiteur at the State Theater in Mainz. Also répétiteur at the
master class “Meistersinger” (Neustadt/Weinstrasse) in summer 2006. Ms. Kurmatschewa
has accompanied many vocal soloists, e.g. Irina Sokolovsky, Christiane Rittner, Diana Schmid,
Tae Ozaki, Richard Morrison, Daniel Jenz, Thomas Jakobs and Florian Rosskopp. Member of
"Ladiesgroove".
